Darling Clementine started up as a small brand in 2006 in Oslo, Norway.
The creative duo consisting of Ingrid Reithaug & Tonje Holand began their journey together by selling high end
stationery and homeware in small design shops. The growing business soon became a recognised brand globally. From this exposure,
they later launched their freelance business, taking on illustration led projects and graphic work, styling and art direction.
They take inspiration from Scandinavian folklore, the Nordic fauna, contemporary fashion and past classic eras like the Bauhaus.
In 2020, the studio decided to discontinue their product line for the benefit of offering unique collections designed and produced especially
for clients. Their first customised series was launched in September 2020 and was created for the new Munch Museum in Oslo.
